Bounce House

Here's a Bounce House video to go with the previous post. If you listen closely, you might hear her giggle after she falls down near the end. :o)

7/3/09 Part 2

To continue the July 4th weekend fun (on July 3), we went to a park where they had food, games, inflatables, live music, fireworks, etc. Here's a picture of Noelle & Daddy as we were about to leave the house. I think she was trying to play with the bows on the shoulders of her shirt. :o)

A Church near the park was giving out free beach balls and bottled water. Great idea for a witnessing tool...the bottled water had this verse on it: "Jesus said, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of this water that I shall give him will never thirst: the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.' " (John 4: 13-14) Noelle LOVED the ball...but eventually, we discreetly deflated it so it was easier to carry while we were doing other things.

Since Noelle is 2, I needed to go with her on the inflatables. We were sad that they wouldn't let her go on the big inflatable slides, but at least I got to take her into some bouncy jump around things. One of the ones we went on had a door that you pushed through to enter it. Once you got inside, it was like a wind tunnel with a slide. That's the one you see us in below. Chris took pictures from the side window.

Ah yes, the Chicken Fling. Noelle's aim wasn't too good, but she thought it was funny anyway.

7/3/09

On 7/3/09, we went to a party at my friend Kelly's house. This party included fun 4th of July type festivities like the craft you see below, star shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and glow sticks for the kids. The kids also had lots of fun playing in the inflatable pools and sandbox in the yard. Thanks, Kel, for hosting! It was great to see you, Camille, and little baby Micah! :o)

Avery, Noelle, and Will entertaining themselves around baby Taylor's exersaucer after lunch. She was such a good sport about this and just sat there contentedly. :o) I think Noelle was clapping about something in this picture.

This picture is funny to me. Makes me wonder what was going through each kid's mind...especially Will, with his little hands on his hips! :o)

Monday 6/29/09

On Monday, 6/29/09, we met a big group of friends at a local park. As always, I wish I had more pictures! The kids were so cute and had a great time. We played in the sand, rode the train & boats, had a picnic lunch, and rode the carousel. Fun times!

Oops...forgot the extra battery

On Saturday, June 27th, we had a fun afternoon & evening with our friends David & Aimee...sadly, the camera battery died and I forgot to bring the back-up. So...the picture above is from our fun time at the pool with them...and the picture below is Noelle in her "chair" at their house (watching Veggie Tales). We had a great time! Love you David & Aimee! :o)

Catching Up

Behind on blogging these days. These are pictures from a 2 year-old birthday party for Ethan & Avery (cousins, close in age, their Moms are sisters). Noelle had a great time at this party! The front yard was set up with lots of fun things to play with. Lots of water play, too! :o)

Not for long...for some reason, Noelle started using the table as a drum and some of the other kids joined in. They were so funny, I wish I would have captured it on video.
