"He is Risen Indeed!"

There is a tradition in the Church where Kristin grew up. It all started one Easter Sunday morning, when the Pastor led the congregation in a responsive reading. Here's an excerpt:

Pastor: "Welcome to this celebration of the Risen Lord! Christ is Risen!"
Congregation: "He is Risen Indeed!"

The Pastor reminded the congregation in his sermon that as Christians we should remember the joy of Easter all year long! So, it became a tradition that EVERY Sunday morning (not just on Easter Sunday) the worship services would begin with these words.

What a great reminder this is for us. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on our behalf. Through Christ's death and resurrection, our sins are forgiven and we are set free from the power of sin and death. Hallelujah! Happy Easter!
