To continue the July 4th weekend fun (on July 3), we went to a park where they had food, games, inflatables, live music, fireworks, etc. Here's a picture of Noelle & Daddy as we were about to leave the house. I think she was trying to play with the bows on the shoulders of her shirt. :o)
A Church near the park was giving out free beach balls and bottled water. Great idea for a witnessing tool...the bottled water had this verse on it: "Jesus said, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of this water that I shall give him will never thirst: the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.' " (John 4: 13-14) Noelle LOVED the ball...but eventually, we discreetly deflated it so it was easier to carry while we were doing other things.
Since Noelle is 2, I needed to go with her on the inflatables. We were sad that they wouldn't let her go on the big inflatable slides, but at least I got to take her into some bouncy jump around things. One of the ones we went on had a door that you pushed through to enter it. Once you got inside, it was like a wind tunnel with a slide. That's the one you see us in below. Chris took pictures from the side window.
Ah yes, the Chicken Fling. Noelle's aim wasn't too good, but she thought it was funny anyway.
