We usually count the new weeks by Sundays. So, as of yesterday, I'm 14 weeks. Overall, feeling much better! I came off of the at home IV fluids on Thursday, October 8th, and have been fine with drinking liquids. Eating is fine too...except that I feel like I eat all the time! ;o) The belly is definitely showing itself sooner than in my pregnancy with Noelle, but I was told by friends to expect this!
Right now, I'm still using the Zofran pump (it uses Ondansetron...that's the generic for Zofran) and taking Phenergan by mouth. Taking the Phenergan less these days. The company that is in charge of the pump has a 24 hour nurse line that I have access to, and they call to check on me every day. They have been really wonderful! My goal right now, with the help of my nurse, is to begin the process of slowly weaning myself off of the pump. This would mean that I would be taking the pill form of the generic Zofran again.
We have a family cruise that is coming up in November. This is a trip with Chris' side of the family, and has been planned for 1-2 years now. Sure would be nice to not have to wear a pump on the cruise if possible, and not to have to pack all the stuff that goes with it!! We'll see...praying about this and for God's protection against all of this crazy sickness going around!!
So glad to feel a bit more "normal" these days! I still deal with nausea at times (worse in late afternoon/evening), but have not had to deal with vomiting since...hmm...maybe week 10 or 11. It's great to not remember the last time I got sick! Praise God!

That is just WONDERFUL news! Sounds like you have really turned the corner on being sick so much! Just in time for a wonderful vacation. Praying you can get off the pump soon! Now we can push forward and get excited about this new life!! Yeah!!!
SO glad to hear your condition in improving. I was very nauseated for both pregnancies but no where near as bad off as you have been. The sickness took longer to get over with pregnancy #2 when I was dealing with more stress so relax and enjoy if possible - should help! And the cruise sounds awesome. We went on a cruise to Alaska with David Jeremiah during my 1st trimester of pregnancy with Sarah when nausea should be at its peak. I worried that the seasickness would make my nausea much worse and prayed for 11 days of respite from the nausea and God gave me exactly 11 days freedom from the nausea. I'll be praying for your cruise!
Yeah K! So glad that you are feeling better. ;)
