Chris' Mom took a big group of family members on a cruise (Nov. 8th - 16th) to celebrate her 70th birthday (she actually has a March birthday, but we didn't mind celebrating with her again)! It was a wonderful trip, and good to spend time with some of Chris' family members that we don't get to see very often. We left from Port Canaveral, Florida and traveled to Cococay, Bahamas (the cruise line's private island), St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and back to Port Canaveral. Most of the pictures we took focused on time with family rather than the ports of call. Here are some of our favorites:

Here's a picture of most of the family members that came on the cruise (except for 2 uncles that didn't come to the dining room that night). Most nights at dinner, the dress was casual, but there were 2 formal nights. Our nephew Cameron is in front, then in the 2nd row (l-r): Aunt Maria, Aunt Pat, Grammy (Chris' Mom), Aunt Linda, me, Noelle, Chris. On the back row: Uncle "Butchie", Shelly & Curtis (Chris' brother & his wife), our niece Alexandra, Rebecca & Jim (Chris' brother & his wife), and Susie (Chris' sister and Alexandra's Mom).

Our little family

You may not know that Chris has a fraternal twin brother. Chris likes to mention that he's the "oldest" (by about 3 minutes). This is Curtis with his wife Shelly and their son Cameron. They live in California, so we had not seen them since our wedding!

Noelle really LOVES her cousin, Cameron!!

You hear a lot of music on a cruise ship at night, and Noelle loved this! After dinner, she always wanted to dance...especially with Cameron! It was funny and cute to watch. When we would get her into our room at night to get ready for bed she would be sad and say, "I want to dance!!" So we learned that it helped her to transition to bedtime if we turned on a music channel on the tv in our room for awhile, so she didn't feel too deprived of her music. Her version of dancing is pretty much just jumping around, but she's so cute to watch and gets so excited!

Playing around with Cameron.

Shelly, Curtis, Rebecca, Jim.

In St. Thomas playing around with Uncle Kenny.

Uncle Kenny is soo funny!

Happy girl!
Just a picture of the cutie back on board the ship, about to have a snack.

Playing at the beach in St. Maarten.

Playing...

Splashing...

and relaxing in the pool. :o)

Sleepy girl.

Cool kid. Loved to socialize with everyone on the elevators.

Noelle usually won't wear sunglasses for longer than a few minutes. This day was the exception.

Posing with Mommy in our cabin.

No cruise is complete without your stateroom attendant making some towel animals. We had a different one to greet us each night when we got back to our room. This one was our favorite. I thought it looked like a monkey, but I think it was supposed to be a baby. :o)

Noelle and Uncle "Butchie".

Happy Birthday to Uncle Jim!

Here's a picture with Chris, all his siblings, and his Mom. They have 2 poses they like to do when they all get together. This is one of them...ta-daa!

and here's the other one...squeeze!

We had a great trip! Thank you to those of you praying for us!
