18-19 weeks

Here's our little boy at 18-19 weeks. He's putting his hands on top of his head. :o) If you count by the first day of my last cycle, you'd think I would be 18 weeks, but the ultrasound measurements always estimate things 1 week ahead. Hmm...we'll see what happens! He should come in April, and we'll know more about the due date later, since it's very likely that I'll have another c-section.

It was nice to see him today! This was a Level II ultrasound, so it gave an in-depth look at all of his organs, spine, brain, etc. Everything looks normal so far, and we're very grateful for that! :o) They said that my placenta is slightly low in its position. The doctor we spoke to said he wasn't really that concerned about it, but just to be on the safe side, we'll have another ultrasound at 28 weeks.

I am absolutely amazed at these ultrasound pictures. No one can doubt that this is a precious life straight from the hands of God. Just beautiful!! I'm just thrilled that you are past that awful 1st trimester and now can enjoy some wonderful vacations with family.
What a beautiful family you have. With these pics, you'll already feel like you've met this precious boy.
